Today, we celebrate the third birthday of the DDR Museum. There is no official party, but the director invites us for dinner in a nice restaurant.

A special highlight of the last few days was the visit of a unit of the German armed forces. The group comes from the Dahme-Spree-Barracks and they do not only wanted to visit the DDR Museum. Before they got their guided tour, which was planned within the framework of a political educational trip, they donated a tapestry, which is in a very good condition.

The last two days, I met journalists from two different continents: Mike Kraus from New York and several journalists from Hong Kong.

I like the exhibition very much, because it is so entertaining and interactive. In each corner, you can do something: Sit down in a Trabi, open a closet or trying on some cloth.

The GDR-Game was published in 2007 and since then, the DDR Museum sold thousands of it. Most people play it with their family to learn something about the GDR, but it is also a very nice game for your next birthday party.

Yesterday, I went to a meeting of the participating museums on the Long Night of the Museums. It was very interesting, but also very difficult to make decisions, because so many people have so many different interests!
