Good reasons for your visit
The DDR Museum is one of the most interactive museums of the world. Founded in 2006 it has already become one of the most visited museums of Berlin in 2007. The visitor is taken on an extraordinary trip into the socialistic past and gets to know, by the human being in the centre of the attention, of the everyday life in the GDR.
Touching the exhibits is specifically allowed in the DDR Museum.
Thousands of school classes have already visited the DDR Museum and especially pupils and teenagers are enthusiastic about the interactive concept of the exhibition.
