Karl-Heinz Bomberg, a therapist who specialises in the psychological consequences of Stasi imprisonment, traces the meaning of freedom and responsibility in his new book. It deals with his own experiences as well as the traumatisation of others who were politically persecuted. Embedded in the theoretical foundations of psychoanalytical trauma therapy, many of those affected have their say, and the author has given them a voice before. He asks about the late effects and forms of coping with political traumatisation and takes a look at how freedom and responsibility are dealt with. Karl-Heinz Bomberg will accompany the evening with some songs.
