To prevent the spread of Covid-19, an individual safety concept has been developed that includes both special and general hygiene and distance regulations.
Here we give you an overview of the most important measures so that you can enjoy a pleasant visit to the DDR Museum even in this special situation.
The DDR Museum is open as usual, daily between 9 am and 9 pm. This way, visitors can avoid potential rush hours. At the same time, the maximum number of people in the exhibition will be greatly reduced.
Tickets can be purchased here in advance or on site.
The 2G rule+mask requirement applies.
Persons 18 years and older: Each person must wear a medical mask and prove that they have recovered or have been vaccinated by means of a scannable QR code (digital or printed out from official testing station or pharmacy) and in conjunction with a photo ID. The nearest pharmacy where vaccination/healing certificates are issued is located here.
Those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons must show a negative PCR test (not older than 48 hours) and a doctor's certificate. The next test station is located here.
Persons under 18 years of age (3G): Each person must wear a medical mask and present in conjunction with a photo ID:
The next test station is located here.
Children up to and including 5 years of age do not need any proof. Wearing a mask is recommended.
Please note that visitors who have had contact with someone suffering from the SARS CoV 2 coronavirus in the last 14 days or who are suffering from an upper respiratory tract infection themselves are unfortunately not allowed to enter the museum.
In addition to the obligatory hand disinfection in the entrance area, further disinfectant dispensers are set up in the exhibition. The toilets are located in the second part of the exhibition. Furthermore, free disposable gloves are provided so that the many installations and objects can be used and touched.
Cleaning staff are on site throughout the opening hours to refill the soap and disinfectant dispensers and to clean and disinfect the exhibition, the museum shop and the sanitary facilities.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the DDR Museum soon.
