Contemporary witness talks

Personal insights into GDR history

Illustration of three people facing each other in a conversation in front of a whiteboard

60 or 90 minutes

Conversations with contemporary witnesses offer the opportunity to gain personal insights into history. They talk about their lives in the GDR and allow pupils to ask questions directly. We are happy to arrange suitable dialogue partners for many different topics. They can tell you about everyday life in the GDR as well as about school lessons, working life, opposition activities and Stasi imprisonment.

Interviews with contemporary witnesses are possible on site or digitally via Zoom etc.

Costs 60 minutes

€60 for pupils/students (per max. 30 persons)

Costs 90 minutes
