The DDR Museum is open seven days a week and on public holidays. On 24 December and 31 December the museum is open from 9 am to 4 pm.
Tickets can be bought online as well as on-site at the ticket desk of the DDR Museum.
Adults: €13.50
Concessions: €8.00
Registered groups/person: €8.00 (from 10 or persons)
Registered school groups/person: €5.00 (from 10 persons)
Concessions apply to children over the age of 6 years, school pupils, students, recipients of unemployment benefits II, those serving national service and the severely disabled. Proof is required.
Children under the age of 6 enter free of charge.
In addition to museum and city tours, you can also book combined tours. Talks with contemporary witnesses and workshops are also a great way to delve deeper into the topic of the GDR.
You can easily reach the DDR Museum by car and public transport such as the S-Bahn, underground, tram and even by boat.
The DDR Museum is barrier-free from the main entrance. However, the Spree Promenade, where the museum is located, can only be reached via stairs or a steep ramp.
