Matthias Kaminsky, born in 1969, is an East German from Querfurt. His birthplace seems to be the programme. While still in the DDR, he began as a record entertainer. On the way with a »Wolga« car he rocks the village discos in the Harz Mountains. When the Wall came down, his world didn't change, but it got bigger. He works as an event manager, organises the CDU party congress and even earns praise from chancellor Angela Merkel for it. For several years he has been the Creative Director at the DDR Museum and successfully designs exhibitions. In her biography, Martina Kaden records his eventful life between a mohawk and a Porsche.
