Cooperation event with the German Museum of Technology Foundation
Smoking chimneys, people in aprons and overalls – The industrial heart of the country beat in Berlin. Günter Krawutschke, who worked as a photographer at the Berliner Verlag, knows the world of many small and large industrial companies in East Berlin and the GDR like no other. The 160 selected pictures provide unadorned and sometimes intimate insights into this long gone world. They show emotional moments and strong characters against the background of hard everyday work.
Joachim Breuninger, Director of the German Museum of Technology, Berlin
