»Fear eats up the soul«

»Angstfresser« is a leech-like parasite that is used in Chinese medicine against anxiety. Kyra, an unstable young woman who threatens to shatter under the ghosts of her past, sees therapy as her last chance to free herself from her fears. But something terrible happened. A whirlwind of nightmares and hallucinations begins. The memories return and with them the terrible events of the past. »This book stirs up, grab hold of it,« wrote one reviewer when the East German writer's new novel appeared.
