We Sell Tickets at BVG (Public Transport) Ticket Machines!

Since June 21, 2013 we are selling tickets for the DDR Museum also at about 700 stationary ticket vending machines as well as at personnel staffed sales systems in approximately 350 BVG-owned point of sales.

Of course we were very curious and had to try, if this works well. To buy a ticket is really easy: On the touch screen simply touch the "Tourism & Events" button and you're coming to the next menu. There, you press the "Tickets / Events" button and you have different attractions to choose from. Now you can select the DDR Museum and buy a normal or reduced ticket. You enter the desired number of tickets, you pay and then you get tickets in form of a typical BVG ticket. These will allow you to "skip the line" at the DDR Museum: You change the tickets at the cash desk of the museum into museum tickets, then you "skip the line" and enter the exhibition.
