In Christmas time you spend a lot of time in the kitchen and you’re busy with the preparation and cooking of soups, starters, roast meat and dessert. In order that you save some time, I want to reveal our dessert tip. For the preparation of the sweet dish according to the typical GDR recipe you need no more than 15 minutes.

In Christmas time you spend a lot of time in the kitchen and you’re busy with the preparation and cooking of soups, starters, roast meat and dessert. In order that you save some time, I want to reveal our dessert tip. For the preparation of the sweet dish according to the typical GDR recipe you need no more than 15 minutes.
 

Ingredients:


4 slices of plain cake


Or 8 – 10 biscuits


400 ml mixed stewed fruit (fruit cocktail)


1 sachet vanilla pudding


½ liter milk


2 cl rum

 

Preparation:

  • Cut the cake into cubes or crack the biscuits in little pieces
  • Sprinkle the pastries with rum and put them into dessert bowl
  • Drain the fruits and fill them also into the bowl
  • Prepare the vanilla pudding and fill the warm mixture as highest coat in the dessert bowl
  • Repeat all coats a second time
  • Chill the dessert  for about 1 hour
  • Garnish the dessert before serving with fruit sauce

Tip: At the Christmas time fruits out of the rum pot and speculoos or other Christmas pastry are suitable.
