Sometimes, we in the office are very lucky to taste new dishes from the GDR restaurant Domklause. When the restaurant manager mentioned that there's gonna be home-made apple strudel tomorrow, there was great professional interest. ;)
To be honest, I didn't know that cooks are so good at baking! The two "test pieces" were still a bit warm, had lots of raisins and a great scent of cinnamon. The apple strudel was topped off with cream and custard... what more could you want?!
Today, only "insiders" were allowed to taste the apple strudel - tomorrow however, everyone can eat the apple strudel with custard. It costs 3.50 EUR and will be the dessert of the day, therefore only available on the 12th January. In case it's going to be ordered often, it will be on the menu and you can get it regularly.
Cross your fingers for me because I would be happy if the apple strudel makes it on the menu!
