Today, we welcomed our 2.000.000th visitor!

Yes, we were a littlebit excited: We waited for the 2.000.000th visitor for some days, but this morning we knew: He or she will come today!

We already prepared the gift basked some days ago. So the director of the museum, me and the gift basket were waiting at the cash desk today. After half an hour, two women bought their tickets and so one of them was our 2.000.000th visitor.

After the big suprise, Mr. Rückel handed the gift basket over to Ms. Karmel. Further she is invited to have dinner at the DDR Restaurant Domklause this evening. And as if this wasn`t enough: She can visit the DDR Museum a lifetime for free!
