A new attraction can be found at the DDR Museum since a couple of weeks: The Pokémon Go hype has arrived at our exhibition! Both visitors as well as staff members are having a lot of fun chasing the colorful little monsters which are hiding on our exhibition premises, in the office or around the DDR Museum itself.
The smartphone is a constant companion of our numerous visitors. Pictures of driving the Trabi, on the couch in our original living room or at the multitouch conference table are popular scenes and are constantly shared on several social media platforms. As of late you can see Pikachu, Flegmon and co. on your phone’s screen, as well. This morning, a Goldini was seen in front of the museum’s entrance. The office has been occupied, as well: A Flegmon decided to rest on the desk of our operations manager and a Tentacha was happily floating around the entire office. Of course all of them were immediately caught!
By the way, the DDR Museum is also a Pokéstop. Especially our many young visitors keep throwing bait moduls so there is quite a chance to catch rare Pokémon at the museum.
Have you also already caught some Pokémon at or nearby the DDR Museum? We would love to see your screenshots, feel free to share them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat (username: ddrmuseum) or Google+!
