Offers for school classes in the Domklause

Often the budget for class outings is low, because of that we developed some time ago special group offers for the DDR-Restaurant Domklause, which is directly beside the museum. It’s the aim to give students the possibility to test culinary specialties of the GDR for low money. A lot of young people and adults, too, know the “Jägerschnitzel” only as a breaded pork escalope with mushroom sauce. In the DDR-Restaurant Domklause they will learn that the variation out of the GDR is totally different: Breaded “Jagdwurst” on spiral pasta.

Thus you connect practical aspects and give your students a more detailed insight in the everyday life of the GDR. Besides that you save the discussions, the long search and the way to an abled eating possibility. After all it shouldn’t always be burger, doner kebab or something similar!

The reservation is very easy:

Announce your class by phone on 030-847 123 730 (office) or 030-847 123 737 (restaurant) or use the E-Mail variation (besucherbetreuung@ddr-museum.de or post@ddr-restaurant.de). We will send you the menu
directly. You only have to let your students choose the dishes and to tell us
the selection. Information about the dishes is completely sufficient two days
before your visit. Please notice that the special prices are just effective for
groups from 20 persons up. When you’ve got questions about the single dishes my colleague Valerie Holbein and I are in attendance on you!
