Some small museums want to close earlier than others. If they do, there would be some confusion, because normally every museum opens on the Long Night of the Museums from 6pm to 2am. This is characteristic for this event. So there was a voting. The majority decided, that this characteristic opening hours are very important. So every museum will still open in the future from 6pm to 2 am.

I took a trainee of the DDR Museum with me, because it is very interesting to see behind the curtain! On the Long Night of the Museum, you only see that everything is organized and works out very well. On such meetings, you see, how much work and how many decisions are necessary to accomplish this huge event.
