"Tunnel 57" is newly published in May and since a few days you can buy the comic in our shop. Since I find history and entertainment a very exciting combination, I immediately wanted to take a look at our new arrival.

The comic is great and the story is really interesting. It has 14 pages and during the first reading, I was reading very fast, because I really wanted to know how the story goes and if everything turns out well. Afterwards I took the time to take a closer look at the drawings. This second view is really worth it because the images have their own individual style.

I do not want to reveal too much of the plot, but the graphic novel is about an escape from the GDR by a self-dug tunnel. Since the comic is based on a true story and on existing people, the tunnel excisted! Name factor was the number of people who fled on 3rd and 4th of October in 1964: 57. This tunnel was the longest and deepest escape tunnel ever dug in GDR times.

You can buy the graphic novel for 4,90€ in the museum shop or online on Amazon.
