The first self-produced video of the DDR Museum!

I absolutely don't have any qualifications in shooting videos. I don't haveany experiences with cameras, directing, I cannot cut... nothing at all!! This is why this video is a premiere and realization of a spontaneous, partly crazy idea. And yes - I am a bit nervous if the viewers will like it.

In this context I'd like to quote Gerd Leonhard who analogous said "You have to toss an idea against the wall and see what adheres of it" on a social media conference (START Conferende in Duisburg).

After tossing the idea against the wall for about two months, scraped a bit of it and tossed it again you can now watch the video on Facebook and also in our blog through the link to our Youtube channel and see what adhered on the wall.

I would like to thank everyone who supported me and helped me to realize my idea. Especially to my colleague Ms Strohl - hand puppet actress (with sore muscles!) who repeated the scenes patiently over and over again and varied and therefore breathed life and character into the puppet. Furthermore I am very thankful to my editor Kenny Philipp who nailed down squishy imaginations - "I would like to have this more dynamic" - with a patience of Job and got a lot out of the available material through cutting and special effects.
