Already shortly before 6pm, the first visitors waited impatiently with their tickets of the Lange Nacht der Museen ("Long Night of the Museums"). I can understand that - everyone who wants to visit several museums that night, has a tight schedule! Hence, we were especially happy about the fact that our discussion with Salomea Genin and singer Karsten Troyke was so well attended. The audience listened to Genin's stories for almost two hours. She told of her varied life as a Jew in the GDR and Troyke sang atmospheric Yiddish songs. All in all, it was a casual and unique event.
