The Visitor Centre at the DDR Museum
Opened in 2008, our Visitor Centre enables school groups to prepare for a visit to the museum, or focus on details of what they have seen. The space can be used to hold lessons, discussions, conduct workshops and seminars, speak to contemporary witnesses and view films. Our library is well-stocked with a wide range of films and books and we are happy to organize talks from a number of experts and contemporary eyewitnesses who experienced the GDR and the period of German division at first hand.
A seminar room with a capacity of up to 50 people (seated in rows), presentation and sound system (a projector, DVD, PA system), a speaker's lectern and flip chart, a library and a media centre.
|In combination with a guided tour||1 hour for free (then 1 € per person and hour)|
