Playful history

Since 2007 the GDR-Game completes the permanent exhibition of the DDR Museum.

In the different parts of the game the learnt from the various subject areas of the exhibition is requested. But knowledge isn't all alone essential; it also depends on improvisation, luck, quickness, the ability to sing and the game piece which has been chosen.

With a lot of fun and irony the players master the everyday life in the GDR.

From nursery school to the workplace, over shopping up to the economic system, the NVA and State Security.

As interactive game it is, in this form, unique in the museum scene.

Can you find your way in the GDR ? Are you able to improvise? Are you courageous? Are you ready for the first museum game? Each game is different: choose from eight characters, answer from a selection of over 800 questions and look out for 300 events and dozens of surprises!
