The Peaceful Revolution 1989/90: Open-Air -Exhibition on Alexanderplatz

The exhibition tells the story of the Peaceful Revolution and its main participants. In 1989, many East Germans woke from an enforced hypnosis, overcame their fears and took their fate in their own hands. A project by Robert-Havemann-Gesellschaft e.V. in collaboration with Kulturprojekte Berlin GmbH; funded by Stiftung Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media upon a decision of the German Bundestag.

The exhibition was already opend on the 7th of May, 2009. We have chosen the date of the opening here because of technical reasons.
