From tomorrow, you will get the opportunity to pop in at our exhibition stand in hall 12.101 at the ITB!
After my colleague Mr. Klötzke and I had driven to the fairground in our "small runabout" with our flyers, pieces of information, biros, postcards, bags etc. on Tuesday and had stored everything away, my colleagues including me are featured on the Berlin Stars exhibition stand since Wednesday.
For me as a trainee at the DDR Museum this is the first year for me to be one of the 11.000 exhibitors on the world's leading travel trade show. Until now, I only visited the ITB every year. For that very reason, it is particularly exciting to experience the travel fair from a whole new point of view.
During the trade visitor days it is a real shame that you cannot have a look at all exhibition halls due to the lack of time because you have to dash from one meeting to the next.
Despite this stress it is very much fun and you meet lots of new people from all over the world - and many familiar faces, of course!
But at the weekend when the ITB is open for everyone, it is always very bustling and you have the opportunity to look for your next travel destination - e.g. Egypt which is official Partner Country of the ITB this year.
Therefore, if you are free and feel like visiting the ITB and also our exhibition stand, my colleagues and I would be very happy about that! Plus, here and there you will find something nice like sweets, biros or pretty carrier bags at the fair to take with you...
