Hollys Blues Band played an amazing concert, Dirk Moldt and Bernd Schröder commemorated old times and the rapper Prinz Pi enthused hundrets of young people! Not only our 500 guests, but also the team of the DDR Museum had a lot of fun during the Saturday evening.

Today, we celebrate the third birthday of the DDR Museum. There is no official party, but the director invites us for dinner in a nice restaurant.

A special highlight of the last few days was the visit of a unit of the German armed forces. The group comes from the Dahme-Spree-Barracks and they do not only wanted to visit the DDR Museum. Before they got their guided tour, which was planned within the framework of a political educational trip, they donated a tapestry, which is in a very good condition.

The last two days, I met journalists from two different continents: Mike Kraus from New York and several journalists from Hong Kong. They were filming inside the DDR Museum and they all talked to our chief historian, Mr. Dr. Stefan Wolle.

I like the exhibition very much, because it is so entertaining and interactive. In each corner, you can do something: Sit down in a Trabi, open a closet or trying on some cloth.

Yesterday, I went to a meeting of the participating museums on the Long Night of the Museums. It was very interesting, but also very difficult to make decisions, because so many people have so many different interests!
